Meee’nterprise - the way forward for business.
Meee is also for Enterprise...
We were invited by Flintshire Communities First to attend an Enterprise Club they were running in Deeside for local entrepreneurs. The Enterprise Club was set up by Beverley Moseley to support and mentor those interested in, or those already running a business. We asked the group what they needed most and branding, marketing, and sales were top of the list.
Our first session was in November 2017 where we discussed Branding, Marketing, PR, and the art of selling. The session was a huge success and we’ll be back in January 2018 to discuss communication, resilience and how to stay on top of your game.
The Meee Enterprise Programme wants to help people understand that becoming more self-aware is vital in achieving what they want in life. We explore exactly what it means to be enterprising, assisting people to set individual milestones on the path to achieving their aims. We encourage them to build resilience to cope with setbacks on the way, and their perseverance to keep working towards their goals.
“The word 'push' has 'u' in it. Keep on pushing and you'll be amazed at what you get back” – Sid Madge.
One of the Enterprise Club attendees, Gary Sibbald left us with some parting words about his experience:
"An Enterprise Club is a really valuable way to expand your knowledge, learn from the success of others, attain new clients and tell others about your business.
With this Lovely, varied group of people comes an abundance of opportunities ,like joint ventures, client leads, partnerships, speaking and writing forums, business sales... the list goes on and is really endless.
" It's not what you know, but who you know "
This is so true in a business success, and by meeting at the Enterprise Club it really can open doors to people that you would not otherwise be able to easily talk to face to face or even find.
You get the opportunity to get hands-on advice about the importance of Work-Life Balance, and you are more likely to pop into other people's thoughts when they need what you can offer.
Within the group and by pushing yourself to talk to people it gives you increased confidence, you benefit and so does your business.
I would personally advise any business owner to attend and find out for themselves how positive and uplifting two hours can be.
What have you got to lose?"
